ABOUT US
The Esparzas are a family of 5: Chansin, Jason, August, Felicity, and Micah.
We started homeschooling in the fall of 2022 when our eldest, August, was in first grade. We are figuring things out as we go, enjoying learning together.
We have a great little homeschool community we created with some friends that meet twice weekly. We generally follow Charlotte Mason principles with some Classical style thrown in there.
We hope to use this website to share our experiences, progress, and allow the children to showcase their art and interests.

For over 10 years I worked as the Associate Pastor of two lovely United Methodist Congregations in south Austin, Texas.
Working early hours, late hours, and afternoon hours made it possible for me to take most mornings with my children, focusing on homeschool and growth together.
This past year I've stepped back from the pastoral work and started enjoying a slower pace. I love homeschooling and being with my family!
